The SC amends its 2016 order and approves the NEET-PG schedule for the academic year 2022–2023

1. In light of the postponement of the start of the previous two academic years due to the onset of Covid-19,

2. The Supreme Court modified its 2016 order on Friday

3. And approved the academic calendar for postgraduate medical courses proposed by the National Medical Commission for the academic year 2022–23.

4. According to the approved academic calendar, the first round of counselling for all-India quota

5. And deemed central institutes under the central counselling in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test was held from September 15 to 27.

6. This year's PG academic session is scheduled to begin on October 20. (NEET).

7. The first round of state counselling had been held according to the plan from September 25 to October 4.

8. The schedule states that the last day to join will be October 26 following the second round of central

9. And state counselling, and the mop-up round will take place from October 31 to November 8 and from November 9 to 14, respectively.

10. The final day to join after the mop-up round of counselling will be November 14 for the central level and November 17 for the state level.
