The full form of ADCA is ‘Advance Diploma in Computer Application. What is O level Computer Course?
O Level Course is a government foundation Course in the field of computer. The affiliation of O level course is provided by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology), before it was known by the name of DOEACC. This institute also provides many other beneficial courses related to computer.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the NIELIT (DOEACC) O level computer course states that all candidate need to complete their 10 + 2 education from any stream because it’s a degree course. After completing the 12th class student can take the admission in ‘O level and start their career in computer field to get the government jobs.
The duration of O Level is one year to complete it and after completion to get the government jobs. But the registration is valid till 5 years. Means if you are not able to give exams for any reason then NIELIT (DOEACC) allow your registration till 5 years from the admission date. Within 5 years you can complete your exams to get the certification of ‘O level computer course.
Syllabus of O level Course
There are 4 Modules in O-Level Computer course.
M1-R4 — IT Tools and Business System
M2-R4 — Internet Technology and Web Design
M3-R4 — Programming and Problem Solving through ‘C’ Language
M4-R4 — Introduction of Multimedia (internet of Things & its Application)

Practical Papers & Project works are necessary to attend and these are counted as 5th module of the O-Level Computer Course.
Differences between ADCA and O level Course
ADCA course is provided by privates Institutions/Coaching, but the O level course is provided by NIELIT (DOEACC) government institute.
O Level Course is a government foundation Course in the field of computer and ADCA course provides training from basic to advance computer operations.
The exam of O Level Course is conducted by NIELIT and the exams of ADCA course is conduct by the institutions from where you take training of the whole course.
The registration of O Level Course is valid till 5 years. Means if you are not able to give exams for any reason then NIELIT (DOEACC) allow your registration till 5 years from the admission date. Within 5 years you can give your exams but ADCA registration is valid till 1 year mostly but it depends on the institution rule.
ADCA course whole process is related to private institution only but you can apply for O Level Course directly through NIELIT websites, or you can take admission through any institution as the institute will complete your admission process through NIELIT websites, you will get admit card for exams easily, the institute will prepare you for exams by giving the classes of the whole the syllabus.
NIELIT take exams in the month of January and July. After taking the admission in O-Level course you have to remember the dates and months for your exams and attempt these exams to get the certificate through NIELIT. But ADCA course exams dates are depended on the admission date of the students.
You can change or delay your exams dates of ADCA in emergency by requesting to the private institutions but NIELIT will not change the date of exams in any case.
